Players each bring one deck and play best-of-three matches. For the first game, players use their own decks. For the second game, players swap decks and use their opponent's. If there is a third game, players bid chains to use the deck which won both of the previous games.

At a triad event, players each bring 3 decks and play best best-of-three matches each round. At the beginning of the round, players each choose one of their oppnent's deck to "bench," making the deck unusable for that match

REVERSAL

Players each bring one deck to the event (typically one they feel is easy to defeat) and swap it with their oppnent's deck at the beinning of each round. Decks are returned to their owners at the end of each round.
